Window Book Products that are required and other details:
PostalWeb Suite, which consists of

PostalWeb Connector (PWC) This product is used to upload Mail.dats to the USPS, gather information from the Mail.dat and USPS Receipts, and send the data to our PostalWeb.Net (PWN) platform. In addition, PWC will send receipt data, Piece, Pallet, and Tray barcodes, and some fields from the Mail.dat to PWN and the Intelligent Mail Assessment Platform. PWC will also accept uploading of a TXT, CSV, or Mail.dat for commingle jobs.

Permissions requirements on the server or stand-alone for PWC

Windows SQL Server 2017 or newer with management tools

Local account on the server/workstation that is a member of the local administrator group. This does NOT require password changing every 30-90 days.

PostalWeb Desktop Dashboard (PWDD) This product lets you see what has been uploaded, view errors, allows minor Mail.dat edits, and shows the USPS Postage Statements if you have a subscription for it. This product can be installed on other workstations if needed.

PostalWeb.Net (PWN) This product is a data collection and automation platform. The data from PWC or USPS is processed in the cluster and, based on the level of service you have, will send down documents or data to the local database/folders on the Clients’ network.

Window Book YourScore (YS) This product gets a daily USPS Scorecard data feed and other details that we use for the Intelligent Mail Assessment Platform. Window Book will need a USPS BCG username and password to access the USPS Scorecard to set up the data feeds. This is only required once unless you add another location that the login is linked to in YourScore.

You do not need transactions unless you would like to get USPS Statements and other documentation downloaded automatically. I would highly recommend you ask for a trial of automated statement delivery. You can find more at https://tinyurl.com/PWHighlights

DatMail is not required for this product. However, the PostalWeb Suite and the Intelligent Mail Assessment Platform will work with Mail.dats from Presort or other Post-Presort Software.

Window Book recommends a unique USPS Login in PWC, USPS MDR Client (MDR Client), and PWN. This unique login will help with issues when users leave the Company, re-set the account password every 30 to 90 days, get locked out of PostalOne!, or forget the security questions answers.
Intelligent Mail Assessment Platform

This product gives you a view of the data, errors, exports, and other information.

You will need to use your PostalWeb username and password to log in to this portal. If you do not have a login, please reach out to the Admin Rights user in PostalWeb. If you run into issues, please get in touch with Window Book Support (see Contact Us).

This system uses data from multiple sources.

This system will be updated and have new functions as needed.

IV data feeds will be 24 hours OLD by the time it hits the system. This is a USPS limitation by design.

YS data will be 24 hours OLD by the time it hits the system. This is a USPS limitation by design.

Mail.dat and PostalOne! data will be 24 hours OLD by the time it hits the system.

Data processing of all the data will happen overnight.
Window Book Products that are required and other details:

MDR Client PWC will interface with the MDR Client to upload Mail.dats to the USPS and also get receipt/job information back that is needed. PostalWeb Connector will manage all settings and will auto-update the MDR Client when required.

USPS Informed Visibility Data Feeds (IV) Window Book will need IV Data Delegated for Mail Quality Data (MQD) and Optional Scan Data and Payment Transaction Feeds. The Scan Data and Payment Transactions will be used in the future. The MQD Data Feeds have all the error information about jobs and barcodes. The Intelligent Mail Assessment Platform will use this data and data from PostalWeb Connector to match barcodes and other information.

Clients that have OLD IV Data feeds stored and would like to send them in to be added to the database, we can accept them. Window Book would prefer the data to be in the format the USPS provides. For the initial setup of IV Data Feeds via BCG, Window Book will need to work with your BSA or a user with the correct permissions to the iv.usps.com portal.
