Assigning Categories While Using the Split Utility

The ability to assign job categories is available when using DAT-MAIL’s Split a Mail.dat file utility.

When the split utility is launched, a Mail.dat list displays, the list of files can be limited to those already assigned to a specific category by selecting the category from the drop-down list provided.

When a job is selected, the Split View Utility screen is displayed. You can keep the existing category assigned to the selected file and have that same category assigned to the new file resulting from the split. Alternatively, you can change either or both the source and target categories when the split occurs.
