Multi-Server Environment

This section provides hardware configuration requirements related to the installation and operation of Window Book, Inc. products and MS SQL in a multi-server environment. Window Book, Inc. Products and MS SQL reside on their own, individual/separate servers or machines.

Hardware configuration requirements in client-server environments (specifically Window Book, Inc. products and MS SQL are operating on the same server) are under Client-Server Environment.

Requirements for workstations (server-with-workstations environment) are under Workstation Environment.

The term "Window Book, Inc. products" includes the MDR Client.

As of July 2018, Professional Services will only perform new installs and server moves on 64-bit operating systems. Window Book strongly recommends a dedicated server for Window Book, Inc. products.
