PostalWeb (PWN) Package Tracking Results Screen or Excel - Report Fields

Whether viewing the package details on your Company's PWN website or in Excel, the information is the same. Here are the values and what each field represents, unless self-explanatory:

  • Product ID

    • 3 - is the Provider ID for International Bridge.

    • 17 - is the Provider ID for EasyPost.

  • DateTime Ship: Shipment Date

  • Tracking Number: Tracking number assigned to the package or envelope.

  • Provider Name: EasyPost, International Bridge, or Pitney Bowes

  • Carrier Name: USPS, FedEx, DHL Express, and UPS

  • Service Level: For the USPS, the options are First Class, Priority Mail, Priority Express Mail, Parcel Select Ground, Bound Printed Matter, Library Rate, or Media Mail. For FedEx, the options are First Overnight, FedEx 2 Day AM, Priority Overnight, Standard Overnight, FedEx 2 Day, FedEx Express Saver, and Ground (Home Delivery). For UPS domestic, the options are 2nd Day Air AM, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air Early AM, Next Day Air, Ground, Standard, Express, Express Plus, and 3-Day Select. For DHL Express, the options are Economy Select, Express 9:00, Express 10:30, Express 12:00, Express Easy, Express Envelope, and Express Worldwide.

    The list above does not include Service Levels for International for USPS, DHL Express, FedEx, and UPS.

  • Shape: Shape applies to all carriers, and the list of shapes changes based on the type of package and carrier you are using. These will not be listed here.

  • Delivery Name: Recipient’s Name & Title, if provided

  • Recipient Company Name: Company Name, if provided

  • Recipient City

  • Recipient State

  • Delivery Zip Code

  • Delivery Country Code: A two-digit code is used for the country.

    If a Country is not found, it will show as the US.

  • Order Number: If applicable, the value entered by the Client when creating packages.

  • Invoice: If applicable, the value entered by the Client when creating packages.

  • Reference: If applicable, the value entered by the Client when creating packages.

  • Shipping: This is the net amount of package shipping cost.

  • Fee Amount: Provider’s additional fees are listed here; for example, label fees charged by a Provider.

  • Total Postage Amount: This is the total amount of the package shipping cost.

  • Import Batch ID: A system-generated number when using Import Wizard to import addresses and package information.

  • DM Job Number: If any Priority Mail Open & Distribute packages were created in DM, if entered, a job number will show here.

  • Void: If an X is shown on the screen, it indicates that the package is not void. If reviewing an excel spreadsheet, if not void, it will show False.

  • Last Event Summary

    • Shipping LBL (label) created “Carrier Name” Awaits Item

    • Accepted at “Carrier Name” facility

    • Processed at “Carrier Name” facility

    • in_transit

    • delivered

    • return to the sender

      It is not unusual to see a package ‘in transit’ and then show ‘processed through USPS facility' if the USPS is involved.
