DAT-MAIL™- Installation Guide
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide first-time installation instructions about the three Window Book, Inc. products that work seamlessly together, as well as perform on their own. Setup and/or configuration instructions that pertain to a first-time installation.
Order of installation is important, since Scheduler, PWC and DAT-MAIL use services and utilize Microsoft SQL Server.
FYI, because DAT-MAIL is the last of the three main products to be installed, and all the necessary services have been created to successfully install PWDD. PWDD can be installed during the initial install of DAT-MAIL.
Basic Setup for Use
If you are not installing MS SQL Server using the Scheduler installer, MS SQL and the SSMS should be installed before beginning installation of Scheduler. Also, please review Window Book Product Installation Requirements, before beginning the installation process. It provides vital prerequisite and requirements information for Window Book products, along with important information about System Setup; Firewall Settings; Database Maintenance; General Resource information; Troubleshooting; and FAQs.
The installation and detailed configuration of Window Book software is based on a Client’s specific requirements and is often performed by an individual from Window Book's Professional Services Team.

Software Updates FYI
Even when performing software updates, the order of updates is just as important. If there is a new release of Scheduler, PWC, and DAT-MAIL, install them in the same order as the first-time installation. Since this is so important, Window Book combined installers. The Scheduler installer has an option to install PWC. In the DAT-MAIL installer, there is an option to install PWDD.
