Versions

Window Book has two versions of DAT-MAIL. Many of the features are the same. However, the Toolbox version has additional features included in the package that medium to large volume mailers find better suited to their needs, especially if they are drop shipping or need an inventory management system to track where pallets are located.

DAT-MAIL Editor

Here are the features available in DAT-MAIL Editor:

Automated Mail.dat import using Daemon.
Mail.dat editing and PostalOne! Submissions (including partial mailings).
Multi-job report for PostalOne! contingencies.
Receive quotes and create PMOD sack shipments using ePostage.
Create LTL shipment quotes with TDM within a job or across jobs.
Generate reports to track postage, permits, Clients, and jobs.
Batch reporting and batch file editing
Print customizable pallet placards, staging flags, sack and tray tags.
Select a customer's MID and CRID, Permit, etc., either from PostalOne! data or tables users create and maintain in DAT-MAIL. Window Book, Inc. recommends using the PostalOne! Customer Data.
Manage production over-filled trays by creating Sibling records, or if trays are underfilled, combine trays with the same zip and container level.
Merge or split Mail.dats.
Access drop ship information & perform simplified entry planning using QuickPlan, which allows you to set minimums and facility types to determine entry points
Create 8125's and get current redirections.
Print-on-demand tags for mail pieces without a Mail.dat
