CSM - Recalc (Recalculate) Container Weights
Recalc Container Weight was designed to fix inadequacies in the presort's calculation from MPU weight to CSM total weight. Especially when round-offs to one or two places were common in CSM or recalculated after post-presort edits changed the MPU weight but needed to propagate the change to the CSM records. Also, it will recalculate the Gross Weight taking into account the tare weight of the container type.

Click on Other Mail.dat Files and select CSM to open the Container Summary File View.

The containers do not need to be selected. Click Recalc Container Weights.

The Recalculate Container Weights dialog will appear. Click Yes to update all containers.

You will see a progress bar, and when it disappears, all your containers have updated.
