General Overview - Layout Fundamentals

The PostalWeb pages are organized into four main areas:

Page Top Frame: The top frame of each page is always visible and contains the following (from left to right):

  • First name recorded in the Member Profile of the user currently logged in. The user's first name currently logged in in the screen image above is “Jean.”

  • Login/Logout link: Clicking this link begins the process of either logging into the PostalWeb site or logging out.

  • 1-800-524-0380: Phone number for Window Book Client Services group.

  • Star Icon : Used to set the currently displayed page as the default start-up page. When the star is solid black, the currently displayed page is the default start-up page (it is the page that will display when the user first logs in to the site). The star will only show a blue outline when the displayed page is not set as the default start-up page (refer to Setting the Default Start Page).

  • Getting Started Help Icon : When this icon located in the page’s top frame is clicked, the Getting Started with PostalWeb page will display. This page provides links to various site locations, tutorials, and documentation to use PostalWeb (refer to Getting Started Help for more information).

Site Menu Bar: The Site Menu Bar contains menu links. The menu links that display is dependent on what role is assigned to the user that is currently logged in. For example, the Company Administrator Role has been assigned in the image above, so all menu options are displayed. Clicking any links will display that menu’s main home page in the page body. Next, click the PostalWeb logo to open the product information page, where we have an overview video of PostalWeb and Statement Viewer. Also, we have a testimonial and more information about PostalWeb, why Postal Web, and who uses PostalWeb.

Page Body: The Page Body of the site is where the contents of the selected menu/page are displayed.

Page Bottom Frame: The bottom frame of each page is always visible and contains the following (in order from left to right):

  • 1-800-524-0380: Phone number for Window Book Client Services group.

  • Contact: Clicking this link displays the Contact Us form, where you can submit feedback about PWN.

    This form overlays the page you are on, so you will see that page after clicking Contact Us or closing the form.

  • Support: Clicking this link opens the login screen for Team Support (https://windowbook.na2.teamsupport.com/login/user). Next, you can create a ticket or search Window Book's knowledge base.
