Setting the Default Start Page

A specific page of the MSPs PWN site can be set as the default page to display when the user first logs into their site. This setting is user-specific so that each user can have their default start page.

The star icon located in the top frame of each PostalWeb page is used for setting the default start page.

The star icon will be solid black when the displayed page is set as the default start page. The star icon will be displayed as a blue outline on pages, not the default start page.

Click the star icon (blue outline) to set the page currently displayed as the default start page. The star icon will change to solid black.

To change the default start page to a different one, navigate the page that becomes the default start page and click the star icon (blue outline).

Notification Icon

The Notification Icon displays the three most recent notifications. Notifications consist of messages from Window Book concerning new software releases, system status changes, etc.

Getting Started Help

When clicked, the Getting Started Help icon / located in the top frame of each PostalWeb page displays the Getting Started with PostalWeb page.

The Getting Started with PostalWeb page links to important information required for PWN setup, maintenance, and use, including product documentation. These links are located in each of the tiles.

  • Get your API Keys: The User role does not need to be concerned about the API Keys unless Support asks you to access this information. For example, your Company Administrator will provision PostalWeb Connector (PWC).

  • Invite Additional Users (not shown here): Immediately displays the Invite Users page (Company Administrator and Company Location Manager roles only).

  • Additional Services (not shown here): Immediately displays the Services page (Company Administrator role only).

  • PostalWeb Tours: Immediately displays the PostalWeb Application Tours page, which contains tiles that, when clicked on, starts a tour of selected areas of the PostalWeb site:
