Window Book Automation Scheduler- Setup Guide

Getting Started

Scheduler runs as a Windows service and should be installed on the computer that acts as the server for installed Window Book, Inc. software applications. It operates whenever the computer is running, regardless of whether any user is logged in, and runs plug-ins that consist of specific functions to various Window Book, Inc. software applications. It consists of a configuration wizard that allows users to schedule and set up configurations for the available plug-ins. When installed, plug-ins are listed vertically along the left side of the home screen.

At a minimum, you should enable the Auto Postal Data Updates plug- now. It will keep USPS drop ship files and labeling lists current in DAT-MAIL.

The instructions in this Guide are for the first-time set-up of a single configuration for each available plug-in. More than one configuration can be created and run for some of the available plug-ins, however.

You can install additional plug-ins at any time after the initial installation of the Scheduler; however, a new registration key is required when this occurs. You can contact Support or your Client Services representative.
