DAT-MAIL - Undocumented - Requirements for Use

The following requirements must be met to use the Undocumented Piece Audit Report in DAT-MAIL:

  • Current version of DAT-MAIL with Toolbox must be installed and registered for use.

  • The option to Register IM Piece barcodes must be enabled in DAT-MAIL.

  • Clients must have a registered PostalWeb site.

  • Current version of PostalWeb Connector (PWC) must be installed, registered, and provisioned for use with the Statement Updater Executable file specified/selected in the software.

  • You must have an existing Business Customer Gateway account.

  • Access to the USPS Informed Visibility (IV-MTR) service is required. In addition, the following will be needed: you must designate a Business Service Administrator (BSA) who will be responsible for all administrative actions in IV-MTR, such as granting users access, managing data delegation, user roles, permissions, and controlling data visibility.

  • When setting up IV-MTR, you will need a list of the existing Customer Registration IDs (CRIDs) you want to access to information.

  • You must have IV-MTR privileges requested and granted through the BCG.

  • If requesting data from IV-MTR using an SFTP server, Clients must have access to an SFTP site for downloading data.

Google Chrome is the recommended browser for viewing IV-MTR.
