AWAM - Enabling and Selecting the Run Mass Updates Function

To enable the Run Mass Update function in an AWAM profile and select a Mass Update profile to apply, perform the following:

Under the General Settings tab, the Run Mass Updates function is in the Post Processing section of all three profile setup screens (Import, Merge, and Post Process). For documentation purposes, the procedure for enabling and selecting a Mass Update profile is demonstrated using an AWAM Import profile.

1. Select the Run Mass Update checkbox. Then click Mass Update Setup.

   

2. The Mass Update Profiles screen will display.

3. Pre-existing profiles will be listed in the By Title window. If the Mass Update profile to be applied is listed, highlight it and click the Select. Refer to AWAM - Creating and Using the Run Mass Updates Function to create (insert) a new profile.

   

4. The Mass Update Profiles screen will close and you will see the name of the Mass Update profile you selected show next to Mass Update Setup. In this example, it shows "Permit 123456"

   

5. To turn off or disable the Mass Update function altogether, deselect the function’s checkbox.
