Enterprise Shipping Solutions
Introduction
Enterprise Shipper™ (ES) is an economical, easy-to-use, multi-carrier, package shipping system. The software runs on a shipper’s local area network to create domestic and International shipping labels using shipping API’s from International Bridge, EasyPost and Pitney Bowes.
ES currently supports USPS parcel shipping, along with multiple UPS, FedEx, and DHL Express accounts (perfect for fulfillment operations). USPS packages are paid using “ePostage” (a new payment technology that is easy to work with), e-VS, or PC Postage. No local USPS approvals are needed with any of these options, and with e-Postage and PC Postage, the Client (user) controls the funding.
Rate shopping across all these carriers (specifically USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express) is also available, either through manual carrier selection by the user or automatic carrier selection using rate shopping profiles.
ES currently supports the following classes of U.S. Mail:
-
Priority Express parcels.
-
Priority Mail parcels and flat rate envelopes.

ES’s workflow options help you ship more accurately, faster, and less expensively.
Whether mailers want to batch process an imported order file, or look-up address or order information from a local data source in real time, ES can do it all. ES also can validate address information to ensure package delivery and reduce returns/refunds. And when shipping First-Class Mail International, Priority Mail International, and Priority Mail Express International, ES provides mailers approximately 15% off Commercial Plus postage when postage is paid via ePostage. Multiple installations of ES can exist in one location (separate registration keys are required for each). When installing the software initially, it is important that all installations point to or use the same data source. When updates to the software become available, a software update must be performed for each individual installation of the application.
In ES, certain settings are considered "global" settings. This means, the completion or setup of these settings in one installation of the application will be applied to all installations of the application that use the same data source/SQL instance. In addition, the application has Workstation Settings that are specific to an individual installation of the application and will not carry over to other installations using the same data source.
